PRME is the United Nations' initiative on responsible management education, and its India Chapter runs the Social Impact Awards. The 2024 edition was hosted by SPJIMR in Mumbai on 5 December 2024.
The citation is for research in development and its social impact. The body of work it points at is the pharmaceutical price regulation research, the subsistence marketplaces work, and the grassroots innovation studies: research about whether interventions meant to help people actually do.
That is the thread through most of what I publish. A policy, a platform or a price control is announced with an intention; the question I keep asking is what it does in the field, measured, including when the answer is uncomfortable.
